1959 1959 Daiwa Shinku Kogyosho founded by Kazuo Hasegawa in Kobe City for the processing of electronic parts.

  1965 Started mass production of crystal resonator parts.
  1969 Established company's logo.
1970 1970 Opened Tokyo office.
  1973 Opened Kurodasho Plant (current Nishiwaki Plant) for production of transistors.
  1974 Built Ichikawa Plant (current Kanzaki Plant) for highest possible mass production of synthetic quartz crystal in the world.
Started the production of 18/u, 6/w type crystal resonators for new entry in the market.
  1976 Opened Miyazaki Plant (current Kyushu Daishinku Corp.) for production of tuning fork type crystal resonators.
Completed new head office.
Established HARMONY ELECTRONICS CORP.
  1977 Established DAISHINKU (AMERICA) corp. Started supplying crystal resonators to U.S. market.

  1981 Established DAISHINKU (HK) LTD. Started supplying tuning fork type crystal resonators to Hong-Kong & Chinese market.

  1983 Listed in the second section of Osaka stock exchange.
  1984 Opened Tokushima Plant (current Tokushima Production Div.) as a base of operations for consistent production of synthetic quartz crystals, resonator parts and quartz devices.
Started mass production of Optical Low Pass Filters.
Completed independent Central Laboratory.
Developed crystal pressure sensors.
Applied for a registered trademark of KDS (Trade mark registration No.4359575.etc.).
  1985 Opened Tokushima 2nd Plant. Started production of ceramic products.
  1987 Started production of voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO).
Opened Nagoya office.
Started production of temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO).
  1988 Established DAISHINKU (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD. to strengthen sales in ASEAN area.
  1989 Changed company name to Daishinku as 30th anniversary.
Established PT. KDS INDONESIA to start overseas production of crystal resonators.

Established DAISHINKU (DEUTSCHLAND) GmbH. to strengthen sales in Europe.

Developed multi-function TCXO module.
  2003 Established SHANGHAI DAISHINKU INTERNATIONAL TRADING CO., LTD. to strengthen sales in China.
Strengthened quartz device business by transferring HARMONY ELECTRONICS CORP. as our consolidated subsidiary.
  2005 Reorganized Miyazaki Plant's control under Kyushu Daishinku Corp.
  2007 Developed 3225 size crystal resonators for automotive electronics.
  2008 Developed 1612 size crystal resonators and 2016 size crystal oscillators (SPXO).
  2009 Developed 2016 size temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO) and voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO).
50th anniversary.
