1959 1959 Daiwa Shinku Kogyosho founded by Kazuo Hasegawa in Kobe City for the processing of electronic parts.

  1965 Opened Kakogawa Plant for mass production of crystal resonator parts.
  1969 Established company's logo.
1970 1970 Opened Tokyo office to strengthen sales in east Japan.
  1974 Built Ichikawa Plant for highest possible mass production of synthetic quartz crystal in the world.
Established Danden co.ltd. Started the production of 18/u, 6/w type crystal resonators for new entry in the market.
  1975 Applied for a patent for basic formation of tuning fork type crystal resonators (Patent No.118215 etc.).
  1976 Opened Miyazaki Plant for production of tuning fork type crystal resonators. Established new head office.
Completed new head office.
  1977 Established DAISHINKU (AMERICA) corp. (former Daiwa Crystal). Started supplying crystal resonators to U.S. market.
  1978 Developed quartz microphone (Patent No.1186888 etc.).
1980 1980 Opened Tottori Plant for production increase of crystal resonators.
Started production of quartz crystal filters.
Started production of crystal oscillators for clock.
  1981 Established DAISHINKU (HK) LTD. (former Daiwa Crystal Hong Kong). Started supplying tuning fork type crystal resonators to Hong-Kong & Chinese market.
Applied for a registered trademark of crystal mark (Trade mark registration No.1719008)
  1983 Listed in the second section of Osaka stock exchange.
  1984 Opened Tokushima Plant as a base of operations for consistent production of synthetic quartz crystals, resonator parts and quartz devices. Started mass production of Optical Low Pass Filters.
Completed independent Central Laboratory.
Developed crystal pressure sensors (Patent No. 164259).
Developed small-sized crystal oscillators (Patent No. 2027309).
Applied for a registered trademark of KDS (Trade mark registration No.4359575.etc.).
Introduced automatic manufacturing process line of AT49 type resonators.
  1985 Opened Tokushima 2nd Plant. Started production of ceramic products.
  1987 Started production of voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO).
Opened Nagoya office to strengthen sales in Chukyo area.
Started production of temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO).
  1988 Established DAISHINKU (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD. to strengthen sales in ASEAN area.
  1989 Changed company name to Daishinku as 30th anniversary.
Established PT. KDS INDONESIA to start overseas production of crystal resonators.
1990 1990 Developed surface mount type crystal resonators (Patent No.2762424 etc.).
  1991 Listed in the first section of Osaka stock exchange.
Established DAISHINKU (DEUTSCHLAND) GmbH. to strengthen sales in Europe.

  1996 Acquired ISO9001 (Standard for Quality Management by International Organization for Standardization).
  1997 Established DAISHINKU (U.K.) LTD. to strengthen sales in England and North Europe.
  1998 Acquired QS9000 (Quality Standard / Automotive Quality Assurance Management System.)
2000 2000 Acquired ISO14001 (Environmental Management Systems by International Organization for Standardization).
  2001 Expanded production floor size of TIANJIN KDS CORP.
  2002 Acquired ISO/TS 16949 (Technical Specification by International Organization for Standardization).
Developed multi-function TCXO module.
  2003 Established SHANGHAI DAISHINKU INTERNATIONAL TRADING CO., LTD. to strengthen sales in China.
Strengthened quartz device business by transferring HARMONY ELECTRONICS CORP. as our consolidated subsidiary.
  2004 Kyushu Tsushin Kogyo Co.,LTD Changed its company name to Kyushu Daishinku Corp.
  2005 Reorganized Miyazaki Plant's control under Kyushu Daishinku Corp.
